I believe in therapy that moves you forward.

I’m Suzanne Gabriele—a licensed marriage and family therapist with a passion for helping people untangle the complicated parts of their lives. Whether it’s a struggling marriage, the aftermath of trauma, a family in the midst of divorce, or an individual trying to reconnect with themselves, I’ve built my career around guiding people through life’s toughest transitions.

With a background that includes working within the family court system, supporting high-conflict families, and helping couples heal after betrayal or disconnection, I understand how overwhelming and isolating these experiences can feel. I also know the difference between therapy that simply talks—and therapy that truly transforms.

MY APPROACH

My approach is rooted in depth, clarity, and evidence-based care. I integrate EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and trauma-informed practices to help clients create meaningful, lasting change. Whether you’re seeking individual support, couples therapy, or guidance for your family, my goal is to provide a space that feels safe, structured, and supportive—where real healing can happen.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Sacred Heart University and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University. These foundations, along with decades of real-world experience, have shaped a practice that balances clinical insight with deep compassion.

Let’s get to the heart of it—together.

OUR VALUES

Our work is guided by values that shape every interaction, session, and relationship. Therapy is more than a service—it’s a commitment to your growth, your healing, and your truth.

TRUST

Therapy begins with trust. I honor the vulnerability it takes to share your story and work hard to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely supported. You can count on me to show up with professionalism, consistency, and care.

AUTHENTIC CONNECTION

I believe real healing happens through real connection. You get the real us—present, human, and fully engaged—and I invite you to bring your true self into the room. This is not about fixing you; it’s about walking with you toward clarity and wholeness.

COMMITMENT TO GROWTH

Your goals matter. I meet you where you are, and we stay flexible as your needs evolve. I am deeply trained and continually learning, integrating the latest research and techniques to provide therapy that’s not only compassionate but effective.

Brittani L. D’Andrea, LCSW

Brittani is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience supporting families through complex legal and emotional transitions. She earned her Master of Social Work with a specialization in law from Fordham University, after receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Fairfield University. Ms. D’Andrea is a certified divorce mediator and guardian ad litem (GAL), with over a decade of experience working in family court. Drawing on this background, she provides divorce mediation, GAL services, co-parenting counseling, reunification therapy, supervised visitation, and other court-ordered interventions with a balanced, legally informed, and compassionate approach.

“During court-ordered anger management/counseling, I was being treated by Sue. At the beginning of my treatments, you would’ve never thought I’d be where I am today. She has taught me how to cope with anger in healthy ways. I now know what things trigger me and how to deal with them without lashing out. This has helped improve my communication skills, and my fiancé has noticed a significant difference since I started. I couldn’t have done this without Sue!
